St Paul, AB - Organic food production of today and long ago was the focus of a familiarization tour which visited Elk Point, Stony Lake and Lac Sante areas last week.
Food and travel writers from as far away as Saskatoon, SK, and Calgary, AB, were joined by those involved in tourism on a provincial and regional basis for the tour, hosted by Fort George and Buckingham House Provincial Historic Site, JVM Farm [...and] Orchard Palace/En Santé Winery...

Edmonton, AB - Lots of farm moms are up all hours of the day, multi-tasking, but my Mom also did a lot of community stuff -- she championed wound-therapy alternatives and was a key motivator for the establishment of a local Alzheimer's home -- and also worked part-time as a registered nurse. Growing up, my memory of her is not of a "working" mom but of an "overworking" mom...

On November 2, 2007, the Red Deer College Food and Hospitality program hosted the fourth annual wine tasting event. En Sante Winery was invited to showcase our product and offer tastings, along with about 20 other suppliers. We were well received by the public and graciously accomodated by the college.

en Sante Winery provided the wine for a Farmers' Day Dinner honoring Premier Stelmach and Mrs. Stelmach organized by their hometown of Andrew, AB. A special label on Adam's Apple wine was designed, featuring a portrait of the premier and his wife. The bottles were valued as souvenirs by guests. A limited number of bottles are available for sale.

Long -weekend wine tasting saw many lakeside participants starting off the summer campground season with a taste of wine to check out our product.
Throughout the summer, regular wine tasting will occur on Friday, from 7 - 9 p.m. on the following dates: June 8th & 22nd
July 6th & 20th
August 3rd, 17th & 31st Tours and group wine tasting can be arranged by appointment.

en Santé winery hosted a local wine tasting attracting visitors from different developments & campgrounds around Lac Santé. The turnout was excellent, especially considering that the Edmonton Oilers were making their debut in the Western Conference final for the first time in 14 years, playing game #1 of 7 at Anaheim!

en Santé Winery Hosts Media Tour Brosseau, AB - Vic & Lyz Chrapko hosted a Media & Tourism Familiarization tour on Thursday, May 11, 2006. 22 reporters, provincial government officials, tourism executives and others from around the province arrived by bus. They stayed about 2 hours, touring the organic orchard, seeing the winery, and sampling all the wine & food. A "Taste Test" was conducted, with many pleasant surprises.
